In the summer of 2019 I was invited to Pow!Wow! Worcester as one of their listed artists. The main goal of Pow!Wow! Is to bring art to the community - in particular those communities that might not have art readily available for its residents to enjoy. My art installations consisted of giant vinyl stickers which I installed in several locations including Becker College.
I also taught a cartooning class to some local kids and adults which was awesome. I invited them to push their imagination by creating some new cartoon mashups - there were some great artists in the class! While I was in worcester I also did some live drawing projections where I would project onto a wall and draw live onto a tablet which people could watch come to life as I drew. It was an amazing trip and to be on the roster along with artists like Matt Gondek, Jeks and Jason Naylor was really inspiring.
