If you've ever fancied a custom piece of art, but have no idea where to start - we're here to help! There's a variety of ways we can get a commission started.
- You might have a specific idea for a piece: perhaps you have a favourite cartoon, song or movie, Thumbs can take this and give you some ideas on how he would conceptualise it.
- Maybe you have no clue on what you'd like, but you know you like Thumbs' art, no problem! Get in touch and even by just giving us some of your favourite things, Thumbs will be happy to run through some ideas with you.
- You might even love the Self Loathing series, Thumbs can create one just for you with all your favourite characters!
There's lots of different methods in which Thumbs can work on a project for you. From a personalised art print, to an original canvas painting, to a mural in your home - whatever it might be, we're excited to here your ideas!
All Thumbs originals come signed and with a certificate of authenticity. We also offer payment plans on commissions so feel free to get in touch and we can get the ball rolling.
Personal project for voice actor and comedian; Ron Funches. Ron wanted a piece that included all of the characters he does voice work for in a style that was fun and colourful. This piece was digitally drawn, giclee printed onto gallery paper and hand finished with acrylic paint.
Hand painted bass guitar for Blink 182 bassist; Mark Hoppus. Mark had no brief and gave Thumbs complete freedom for the artwork. This bass was hand painted by Thumbs and varnished by Fender and can be seen on the Blink 182 world tour and throughout their other shows.
Commission for a private collector. The design brief was one word; "Colorado" and the collector wanted Thumbs to create something based around that. This piece was digitally drawn and giclee printed.
A commission for a private collector who wanted Thumbs to create a piece featuring every character from the hit 90s cartoon "Dark Wing Duck". This piece was digitally drawn and giclee printed. It also came with indivial prints of each character for the collector.
